BeeHacchee
BeeHacchee is a packaging design for a honey cheese tart. The box is hexagonal and recalls a beehive, giving visual form to the honey concept. The package is formed from a single piece of cardboard and measures 224 mm in width, 195 mm in depth and 44 mm in height. Kraft paper gives a casual and approachable impression, while a yellow border printed across the surface adds contrast. Yellow printing on kraft paper is difficult, because the color sinks into the paper, so a highly skilled printing partner was engaged to achieve the intended result.
BeeHacchee Tarts Packaging by SHINGO FURUSHO was highlighted as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. BeeHacchee Tarts Packaging earned the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which honors superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
