Dayou Aristo
Dayou Aristo is a life hall designed as a reception and community building in Shandong, China. Inspired by yachts, Dayou Aristo adopts a streamlined shape. Large areas of colored glazed glass are combined with champagne metal, which prevents direct views inside and creates a calm and elegant appearance. An overhanging space 6.2 meters wide and 9.25 meters high is placed outside the east facade, supported by staggered steel columns of 300 millimeters in diameter. A basic module of 1.8 meters controls the division of glass, doors, windows and aluminum panels.
Dayou Aristo Life Hall by Quincy Li has been identified as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Dayou Aristo Life Hall earned the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that celebrates exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
