Espaco Com Viver
Espaco Com Viver is a residential living space that joins a living room, a kitchen and a dining area in one open plan. The walls are built from construction waste, including drywall discarded on the site, and are covered by hand with earth in different tones collected from landfills. The structure is made entirely of aluminum. No entry door is used, and the walls do not reach the ceiling, so the interior remains fluid. Natural fibers, Brazilian wood and local handicraft support a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
Espaco Com Viver Residencial House by Marcus Vinicius Santos was identified as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Espaco Com Viver Residencial House was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2023. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that rewards outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
