Saturn
Saturn is a cat bed shaped as a rounded wooden pet house for modern homes. The form is built from triangular pieces of surplus wood, assembled in the manner of a football, so that offcuts from furniture production are reused and material waste is reduced. A large opening allows the cat to enter, while two smaller holes on the sides let the owner interact with the pet. The interior is finished with dark paint to create a calm and comfortable space. Saturn measures 480 by 409 millimetres.
Saturn Cat Bed by Yeak design has been identified as an exceptional example of product design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Saturn Cat Bed earned the Silver A' Design Award in Pet Care, Toys, Supplies and Products for Animals Design in 2022. The A' Pet Care, Toys, Supplies and Products for Animals Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which celebrates outstanding design of pet food, pet apparel, pet beds, feeding bowls, litter boxes, pet carriers, grooming tools, toys and more.
