Ario
Airo-5G is a compact air conditioner designed for small spaces. Airo-5G combines three functions in one body: air conditioning fan, purifier and humidifier. The functions are selected by changing the placement of the unit, and all three can work together when the unit stands vertically. The hollow form is inspired by the karst caves of southwest China. A filter element removes fine airborne particles. The unit connects to the internet, so functions can be updated over time and less new hardware is needed. Airo-5G suits home, travel and office use.
Ario Air Conditioning by Lei Xiao has been selected as a grand illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ario Air Conditioning earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Products Design in 2022. The A' Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Products Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that recognizes outstanding design of furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, ventilators, thermostats, ductwork, radiators and more.
