Simple Carrier
Simple Carrier is a residential interior design created for a family home in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The 228 square meter space contains three bedrooms, one living room, one dining room, three bathrooms and one dressing room. Cool gray tones, inspired by caves, build a calm and private setting within a busy city. Curved windows bring in abundant daylight and add warmth. Materials include marble, wood grain grilles, gray glass, stone-like tiles and titanium-plated strips. Soft furnishings in saturated colors and amber light raise the visual temperature.
Simple Carrier Residential House by Shiming Li has been identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Simple Carrier Residential House was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
