Ucon
Ucon is a bottle design for natural mineral water. The upper part of the bottle takes stone as the main visual symbol, while the lower part uses a faceted ore form based on a parametric triangular surface. The two parts create contrast and remain harmonious as a whole. The cut edges are kept smooth to give a comfortable grip. The label is printed with water-based ink to reduce emissions from the printing process, and a pearlized film shows black rock, white dot and gold stripe textures. The bottle measures 64 by 64 by 220 millimeters.
Ucon Natural Mineral Water by Chi Forest was recognized as an exceptional illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ucon Natural Mineral Water was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that recognizes outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
