The Sea Waves
The Sea Waves is an office interior design created for a shipping company in Jakarta, Indonesia. The office covers 1,400 square meters and has a capacity of 109 staff. A modern contemporary style is combined with maritime elements. Wavy ceilings, walls and louver dividers suggest ocean waves. Blue and white colors, bright lighting and ocean depth graphics support the marine theme. The reception table and backdrop include ship shapes. Wood from responsible suppliers and rattan furniture are used. The pantry ceiling carries batik accents, a traditional Indonesian craft.
The Sea Waves Office by Arkadia Works has been highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. The Sea Waves Office earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
