Twist
Twist is a console table designed for entryways, hallways and dining rooms. The tabletop is made of marble or colored tempered glass with chamfered sides. Two twisted legs start at the center and end at opposite sides of the top. A metal frame with cut-outs holds the tabletop and reveals the material detail. A support structure under the tabletop connects the legs and adds strength. The legs can be rose gold or chrome electroplated, or black powder coated steel. The two twisted legs give Twist a sculptural form.
Twist Console Table by Ipek Memikoğlu was identified as an exceptional illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Twist Console Table was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that rewards excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
