Home Away From Home
Home Away from Home is a furniture series that includes poufs, tea stools and lamps for storage and lighting. The series is made from leftover materials from automobile manufacturing, such as surplus seat belt fabric, airbag fabric, leather and metal offcuts, together with Karuun wood. The lamp can be placed in the middle of a room, on a dining table or on a balcony. A leather band allows the Cotton Cloud lamp to be hung. The poufs come in three sizes and trims and can serve as extra seating.
Home Away From Home Furniture by NIO Life has been selected as an exceptional illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Home Away From Home Furniture received the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
