Salmet Bistro
Salmet Bistro is the interior design of a small restaurant set in a forty year old house in Changhua County, Taiwan. The red bricks and stone of the old house were preserved, reassembled and combined with metal, iron and wire. Dark iron parts create a strong contrast that highlights the red brick surfaces. The stone flooring and wall decorations were produced by a local stone manufacturer. The indoor bar extends to the outdoor area and links interior and exterior. The space covers 83 square meters inside and 15 square meters outside.
Salmet Bistro Commercial Space by Enterior Design Ltd. has been recognized as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Salmet Bistro Commercial Space was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
