New Year Gift
New Year Gift is a gift box created for the users of a Chinese input method application. The outer container is a basket made with the traditional thin-strip bamboo weaving craft, so the basket can be kept and reused after opening. The bellyband can be folded into a tiger cap for children, which reduces packaging waste. Inside the box are a calendar and traditional New Year painting plates. The calendar cover is produced with the Fengxiang woodblock printing craft. The set invites families to try these crafts at home.
New Year Gift Packaging by Baidu Online Network Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd was selected as an outstanding example of communication design by the A' Design Award.
