The chair itself answers a question that the designer has been frequently asked in the last 35 years: Which wood is this? It's a comfortable chair that same people just sit down and some people read the names and start a conversation about wood.
Cadeira Chair by Álvaro Wolmer was highlighted as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Cadeira Chair earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award that rewards excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
