Compact Pro
Compact Pro is an air purifier developed for homes in regions affected by air pollution and low income. The shape of the fan runner was resculpted through systematic optimization, and a square proportion was selected. The change improves performance by 50 percent, uses space better and allows a more compact arrangement of the electronics. A floating table-shaped interaction area with a breathing light forms the visual center. The body is made of ABS by injection molding, with a transparent black acrylic panel. The minimalist, neutral style conveys an inclusive ethos.
Compact Pro Air Purifier by sxdesign was selected as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Compact Pro Air Purifier won the Silver A' Design Award in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Products Design in 2022. The A' Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Products Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that honors superior design of furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, ventilators, thermostats, ductwork, radiators and more.
