Kaleidoscope
Kaleidoscope is a kindergarten interior designed for twenty-four children within an area of 130 square meters. The design is based on the image of a kaleidoscope, in which light is reflected through mirrors and colored glass. Abstract colored accents are applied to light walls to create a calm and varied interior. A sliding transformable partition divides the group room into play and sleeping zones without reducing the area. Mobile tables and stackable chairs add further flexibility. The finishing materials are environmentally friendly and simple to install.
Kaleidoscope Kindergarten by Design studio EduDesign has been recognized as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Kaleidoscope Kindergarten received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
