The Emergency Syringe Capsule Esc enables caregivers during vaccination campaigns to prepare in advance up to ten prefilled syringes for distribution. The Esc will provide a controlled environment with the help of a color-changing cold pack for up to five hours. It can also be used by emergency response teams during a crisis or various special circumstances. The design is intuitive and relies on visual cues to facilitate interactions between caregivers.
Esc Syringes Transport Container by Eric Lalande has been recognized as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Esc Syringes Transport Container was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Medical Devices and Medical Equipment Design in 2022. The A' Medical Devices and Medical Equipment Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which recognizes superior design of stethoscopes, wheelchairs, defibrillators, MRI machines, surgical instruments, prosthetics, ultrasound devices, pacemakers and more.
