Artem Luxury Watch Straps is a packaging design created for watch straps made for collectors. The outer cover slides off to reveal a frosted vellum inner box that opens at the side with a flap seal. A foam insert holds the strap in place. The blocky and sculptural form highlights sharp edges and technical precision. Foil stamping and papers in grey and royal blue give a refined and technical appearance. The structure was shaped to present the product clearly during unboxing.
Artem Packaging by Joel Derksen was featured as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Artem Packaging earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award which recognizes exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
