Xijiu Silk Road Liquor
Xijiu Silk Road Liquor is a packaging design for a Jiang-flavor liquor collection that commemorates the Silk Road. The bottle is made of polished porcelain and carries ten porcelain paintings of ten landmarks along the Silk Road. A gilt ribbon inspired by silk wraps around the bottle body and follows the route linking the ten landmarks. The cap is based on the form of an imperial jade seal. The set is presented in a faux leather box with bronze pins and a handle. A double inner layer opens to display the ten landmark scenes.
Xijiu Silk Road Liquor Packaging by Zhu Hai was highlighted as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Xijiu Silk Road Liquor Packaging was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2023. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which rewards excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
