Rest of Life
Rest of Life is a residential interior design for an apartment of 66.1 square meters on the fifteenth floor. The home includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a tatami room. Terrazzo, smoked oak, rattan mesh and begonia glass create a retro atmosphere inspired by traditional Taiwanese houses. A begonia glass sliding door divides the entrance and reduces the visual weight of a large beam. A rounded ceiling and chamfered edges repeat the curved forms. Each cabinet is treated as a separate movable piece.
Rest of Life Residential by Wanderlust Design was identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Rest of Life Residential was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
