Jundao Guiniang
Jundao Guiniang is a packaging design for a high-end Chinese Baijiu spirit. The hexagonal white ceramic bottle is decorated with a traditional Chinese ink painting, applied by enamel firing. The soft halo of the painting suggests mountains and rivers and refers to the natural environment of the production area. A bronzing process outlines the terrain of the origin region in fine layers. The golden cap is shaped as a personal seal and can be kept as an ornament. The design expresses Chinese culture, respect for nature and the value of tradition.
Jundao Guiniang Baijiu Packaging by SHANGHAI GUIJIU CO., LTD. has been featured as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Jundao Guiniang Baijiu Packaging earned the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2023. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which recognizes excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
