Family Bliss
Family Bliss is a residential interior design created for three generations living under one roof. The home occupies 415 square meters within an old farmhouse built more than twenty years ago. The interior was almost fully removed, the foundations were strengthened, and the old water pipes were replaced. Warm wood tones, natural stone, solid wood and metal parts shape the main living room wall, while an L-shaped sofa follows an L-shaped window. Large openings draw the courtyard greenery and the shade of an old tree indoors. Low formaldehyde paint was used.
Family Bliss Residential by Yueh-Ching Cho has been highlighted as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Family Bliss Residential earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
