Loving Hug
Loving Hug is a residential interior design for a home of 71 square meters in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Curved forms appear throughout the home, from the chamfered cabinetry to the light wood headboard, dresser and closet. A white base tone keeps the rooms clean and open, and is accented by light wood grain with soft green, yellow and pink tones. A screen and a television wall separate the entrance from the living area, while glass set into the upper part of the wall lets daylight pass through. The guest room stores a folded mattress and bedding under a raised couch.
Loving Hug Residential House by TSUNG YU LU was highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Loving Hug Residential House received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
