Immaculate Illumination
Immaculate Illumination is the interior design of a new three-story residence in Hsinchu, Taiwan, with a total floor area of 297.5 square meters. The layout uses the building orientation and the surroundings to increase the natural light entering from every direction. White, black and light gray form the main colors. Large light stone tiles cover the floors, walls and stairs to widen the visual perception of space. Fluted glass admits light while keeping privacy. A wooden block on the second floor serves as a divider and a display cabinet.
Immaculate Illumination Interior Design by Chen Chia Yu has been highlighted as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Immaculate Illumination Interior Design earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
