2046
2046 is a restaurant interior in which a film theme guides the spatial narrative. The design draws on the culture of Hunan cuisine and combines it with vivid colors taken from cinema to create an immersive sensory experience. Materials include crystal glass brick, aluminum profile, micro cement, crystal mirror glass brick and translucent terrazzo. The space is divided into three areas, with scattered seats, booth seats and private rooms, so guests can walk, talk and gather. The intent is to offer young customers a dining place that also serves as a social platform.
2046 Restaurant by Vison Xu has been identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. 2046 Restaurant received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
