Mking Party K
Mking Party K is a karaoke venue interior located in Nanjing. The design is guided by the path of light and shadow. A doorway leads guests from the entrance into a series of unexpected scenes. Deformed walls create an impression of weightlessness. The ceiling is finished with water corrugated stainless steel, and its high reflectivity blurs the outlines of the space. An automatic hatch opens towards the hall and marks the change between areas. The intent is an immersive experience that invites exploration.
Mking Party K Ktv by Kuanxi Li was featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Mking Party K Ktv was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
