Qinshihuang Cpa
Qinshihuang CPA is a packaging design for a craft beer in the China Pale Ale category. The bottle shape and bottle neck use typical elements of the Qin dynasty, and the form recalls a jade goblet with cloud patterns from the Qin and Han periods. A flag around the bottle neck marks the product as a pioneer of the China Pale Ale style. A central seal script character, the unified font of the Qin dynasty, gives a traditional and classical look. The design is made as a 315 ml glass bottle and a 550 ml aluminium can.
Qinshihuang Cpa Packaging by China Resources Snow Breweries was recognized as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Qinshihuang Cpa Packaging earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2023. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which celebrates excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
