Track
Track is a ceramic tableware set that includes plates, cups and flower vessels. The forms are simple and the colors are bright. White surfaces curve across each piece like sliding ice and snow, and the rising and falling structure makes the outlines clearer. The set is produced by ceramic mould casting and fired to 1250 degrees Celsius. Shapes that deform easily are supported with alumina during high temperature firing, then glazed and fired again. The design stays quiet and modest, so the food remains the focus of the meal.
Track Tableware by Xin Wang was featured as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Track Tableware received the Bronze A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2023. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which celebrates outstanding design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
