Yu Garden
Yu Garden is a private villa interior design located in the central business district of Suzhou, close to Jinji Lake and Dushu Lake. The internal structure of the 1500 square meter residence was replanned to make the rooms more square and regular. A landscape staircase replaces the original corner stairs, adding both display value and practicality. An automatic sensing glass roof improves daylight and ventilation. An elevator, a sunken courtyard and a basement light well were added. Stone, glass and wood finishes support a calm and comfortable atmosphere.
Yu Garden Private Villa by Qiang Hu was recognized as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Yu Garden Private Villa won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
