Meishan Mining
The Meishan Mining project is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, 13 kilometers away from the center of Nanjing. Its predecessor is Meishan Iron Mine, which was founded in October 1959, and resources are now close to exhaustion. The government plans to build it into an industrial heritage park, so the whole design is centered around the two goals of meeting the function of the existing mine wisdom command center and taking into account the overall effect of the site park.
Meishan Mining Smart Center by Saiwen Liu was selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Meishan Mining Smart Center was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2023. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade that honors excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
