Lang
Lang is a restaurant and lounge in Shenzhen, China, serving Sichuan cuisine during the day and drinks at night. The interior is arranged as a black box divided into themed areas named after tequila sunrise, black cherry, blue margarita and sunset martini, each with its own colours and character. Chinese references such as Sichuan opera and the panda are combined with western materials. In the entrance corridor, layered red curtains of pure copper, electroplated red, descend from the ceiling. A red water bar is made of pure copper and corrugated acrylic.
Lang Chuan Cuisine Lounge by GBD was selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lang Chuan Cuisine Lounge received the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
