Rings
Rings is a residential garden created for a private home in Ucles, Spain. The garden covers 268 square meters and is arranged around a central golden point, with a layout based on hidden mathematical proportions. Handwoven wicker pergolas and handmade clay-brick paving were produced by local artisans. LED lights set into the bricks and walls represent the Milky Way. The pool is lined with mother-of-pearl tiles and has a movable floor that can rise to form a stage. Palm trees, cypresses, olives and perennials complete the planting.
Rings Residential Garden by Fernando Pozuelo was featured as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Rings Residential Garden won the Iron A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2023. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that recognizes outstanding design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
