Trido Magnetic Art
Trido is a set of magnetic building blocks for children and adults. The blocks are based on the geometry of Platonic solids, using tetrahedron, half tetrahedron and octahedron shapes. A patented magnetic system allows every side of every shape to connect without repelling, so the pieces align along their edges. The blocks are made of ABS plastic, and the magnets are enclosed inside an inner nest. Magnetic eye pieces can be added to give a structure a face. Trido is offered in three set sizes and six colour palettes.
Trido Magnetic Art Building Blocks by Artur Tikhonenko was highlighted as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Trido Magnetic Art Building Blocks won the Silver A' Design Award in Toys, Games and Hobby Products Design in 2023. The A' Toys, Games and Hobby Products Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which honors outstanding design of dolls, action figures, board games, puzzles, plush toys, educational toys, building blocks, model kits and more.
