Moonshot Cafe
This design is for the Japan Pavilion at the CES 2023, one of the largest technology conventions in the glove. It is inspired from simplicity and minimization, the fundamental concept of Zen, which Japan has always been with since ancient times. It’s rare to have a cafe, rather than having a normal exhibition booth in a convention. The space tries to become an oasis where the interaction begins. It also focuses on transparency and spaciousness since the ceiling of the venue is low. In addition, it has lots of green, showing the eco-friendship, reducing waste, and creating a cozy atmosphere.
Moonshot Cafe Exhibition Booth by Takeshi Yoshida was featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Moonshot Cafe Exhibition Booth won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
