Gaze
Gaze is a portable security device created to guard personal belongings that are left unattended. Gaze is placed on a table or on the floor and then switched on. A full high definition camera with a 200 degree fisheye lens records the surroundings. A vibration sensor and a high volume alarm react to abnormal movement and alert the user and nearby people. A smart digital lock with a touch panel prevents unauthorized shutdown, while a mobile application allows remote control. The body is made of recyclable ABS and PC by injection moulding.
Gaze Security Gadget by Martin Chan has been recognized as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Gaze Security Gadget won the Silver A' Design Award in Security, Safety and Surveillance Products Design in 2023.
