The R Series
The R Series is a modular rack system designed for automated measurement technology. The R Series offers upward and downward compatibility within the product family. Alongside a centered 19 inch rack, the Rack R90 and the Rack R180 provide one or two accessible installation spaces on each side for electrical switchgear assemblies, IT systems or similar equipment. The separation of the 19 inch core from the installation spaces allows sensitive measuring devices to be combined with conventional electrical devices in a single mobile system. The structure is made of lightweight aluminum.
The R Series Rack System by Christian Geistberger has been highlighted as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. The R Series Rack System received the Silver A' Design Award in Commercial Appliance Design in 2023. The A' Commercial Appliance Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which honors outstanding design of commercial ovens, industrial refrigerators and freezers, commercial dishwashers, laundry equipment, food processors and mixers, heating and cooling systems, commercial coffee machines, retail store equipment and more.
