Residence in Limassol
Residence in Limassol VI is a private house designed as a nearly zero energy building. The house opens to the south and to the view, and it uses the local environmental conditions to achieve thermal comfort. A white Z-shaped form provides sun protection and joins the covered parking space with the main volume. Large windows bring in daylight and link the interior with the surroundings. The layout separates communal and private areas and protects privacy from the street. Reinforced concrete forms the structure, and the whole building is thermally insulated.
Residence in Limassol Private House by Vassiliades Architects was identified as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Residence in Limassol Private House earned the Iron A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2024.
