Lion Dancing New Year
Lion Dancing New Year is a children's gift box created to teach traditional Chinese New Year culture through play. The outer box carries a modern lion dance illustration and can be unfolded into a lion head that children wear as a mask. Inside are learning and play items, including a dragon kaleidoscope, door god stickers, habit-forming cards, auspicious calligraphy, a red envelope and hanging tangerine decorations. The box is made of paper with printing and profiled cutting, so the packaging is reused as part of the product itself.
Lion Dancing New Year Children's Gift Box by Shenzhen Banana Design Co. LTD was recognized as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lion Dancing New Year Children's Gift Box was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that honors excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
