Centrestage 2022
Centrestage 2022 is an introductory space designed for a fashion event in Hong Kong. The space measures 15 metres wide, 36 metres long and 7 metres high, and forms part of an exhibition of 6665 square metres. Two layers of circular LED screens are suspended above a spherical screen, creating an area for photographs. A curved LED wall at the entrance shows motion graphics. Interactive columns and a large LED wall support presentations. The area is also used for receptions and fashion shows. Walls are built from reusable aluminium frames, and biodegradable carpet is used.
Centrestage 2022 Event Organiser Space by Hong Kong Trade Development Council was selected as an innovative representation of service design by the A' Design Award. Centrestage 2022 Event Organiser Space was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2024. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that recognizes exceptional design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
