Hong Kong Book Fair 2022
Hong Kong Book Fair 2022 is a public exhibition held at the Hong Kong Conference and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. The 32nd edition covered 55100 square metres and brought together more than 700 exhibitors. The Art Gallery formed the centre of the event and was divided into three zones: City Literature, HK Architecture and Taste of Hong Kong. Display panels were built from reusable aluminium frames covered with vinyl, polycarbonate and glass, prefabricated and tested off-site. Biodegradable carpets were used to make the production more sustainable.
Hong Kong Book Fair 2022 Public Exhibition by Hong Kong Trade Development Council was identified as an innovative representation of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Hong Kong Book Fair 2022 Public Exhibition received the Bronze A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2024. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which recognizes excellent design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
