Espressionismo Floreale
Espressionismo Floreale is a rug collection about the rebirth of life through flowers. Through color and geometric shapes, each design captures one natural reproductive part of a flower in its most abstract form. The rugs are woven from a luxurious blend of New Zealand wool and vegan silk using the hand tufting technique. They come to life in six different designs: Anther, Carpel, Filament, Leaf, Petal and Stamen. The design of each rug is a study of color and form that generates a sensation of a sinuous, elegant and forceful movement as these flowers own by nature unlocking a vibrant living.
Espressionismo Floreale Rugs by Laura Niubó was recognized as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Espressionismo Floreale Rugs was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2024. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that recognizes exceptional design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
