Golden Year Wheel
Golden Year Wheel is a residential interior design for a pre-owned apartment in Taiwan. The home covers 235 square meters and contains four bedrooms, a living room and a dining room. The layout was rebuilt around the idea of spatial transition. Arc-shaped walls and lighting link the entrance, living room, study and dining area in a smooth sequence. Stone, large slab tiles, natural wood grain, architectural concrete and leather are combined. The large slab tiles replace marble to reduce the use of natural stone. The design aims to create a calm and restful place for daily life.
Golden Year Wheel Residence by Jheng Chen Interior Design has been recognized as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Golden Year Wheel Residence won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
