Coingaroo
Coingaroo is the interior design of a cryptocurrency retail shop in Hong Kong. The shop covers about 1200 square feet and takes inspiration from art galleries, Japanese gardens and space. Curves are used throughout the design, from the wavy metal panel ceiling to the walls, partitions and furniture. Greenery is placed around every corner, and digital displays present NFT artwork. A round LED screen shows the current prices of cryptocurrencies. A clean and bright color palette highlights the artwork and supports a fluid, inviting and informative space.
Coingaroo Interior Design by Raymond Ng was featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Coingaroo Interior Design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
