East China Grand Canyon Visitor Center
East China Grand Canyon Visitor Center is a multifunctional building in Taishun County, Wenzhou, China. The S-shaped form connects a folk culture center, a tourism reception center, an exhibition hall, a digital nomad office and a hotel. A 500-meter scenic ramp rises from the ground to the highest point of the roof, following the existing terrain to limit earthwork. The layout encloses two courtyards, where rockeries and ponds are built with local Taishun stone. Green roofs planted with native species lower the roof temperature in summer. The roof is open to nearby communities.
