Guyuelongshan
Guyuelongshan is a packaging design for a Chinese rice wine from Zhejiang, China. The wine is brewed with a traditional process and has a low alcohol content, which makes the drink suitable for daily use by younger consumers. The packaging follows the aesthetics of Chinese landscape painting, and the container form suggests mountains, water and sunset. The design aims to renew the plain appearance of older rice wine packaging and to present Oriental culture in a modern way. The package measures 340 mm in width, 130 mm in depth and 150 mm in height.
Guyuelongshan Chinese Rice Wine Packaging by yuejun chen was featured as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Guyuelongshan Chinese Rice Wine Packaging won the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which rewards exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
