Warmth
Warmth is a residential apartment interior of 61 square meters in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The entrance holds a white floating shoe cabinet, and wooden holes in the wall collect small objects. The kitchen wall was removed to form an island kitchen joined to the living room and study. No partition stands behind the sofa, so curved lines and the sofa height mark each area. The television wall is finished with Italian plaster that adjusts moisture and absorbs formaldehyde, and an L-shaped cabinet sits below. System cabinets provide storage and quick assembly.
Warmth Residential Apartment by Ting Chin Wang was highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Warmth Residential Apartment was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
