Bamboo Cubic
Bamboo Cubic is an exhibition hall built entirely from bamboo. The design reflects the integration of production, life and ecology. All surfaces are made of bamboo, so the interior forms an immersive space. The structure is based on a cubic module. Several cubic modules can be combined to create varied spaces with a sense of depth. The name Bamboo Cubic refers to the versatility of bamboo and the variability of the cubic form. Traditional bamboo mats, weaving and craftsmanship are presented within the hall.
Bamboo Cubic Exhibition Hall by Li Yipeng has been recognized as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Bamboo Cubic Exhibition Hall won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
