Secluded Beauty
Secluded Beauty in the Mountains is the common area interior design of a residential development in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The space of about 374 square meters includes a lobby, a meeting room and a lounge, and is planned to help residents meet and build closer connections. The design follows Japanese aesthetics, with wooden grilles in the lobby and a reception counter that combines natural stone veneer with titanium plating. Ceramic artworks are integrated into each area. The calm setting offers rest from the busy city.
Secluded Beauty Residence by Te-Yu Liu and Hui-Ching Chang was highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Secluded Beauty Residence was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
