Bucket Arch
Bucket Arch is a tea table inspired by the arch of traditional Chinese wooden architecture. The design applies the shape of the arch together with circular and square forms, keeping ancient elements within a compact size that suits present-day use. The table is made of solid black walnut, a stable and calm colour that blends into interiors. The tabletop is finely ground with CNC machine tools and then polished by hand. Bucket Arch measures 1600 by 750 by 720 millimetres and is suited to study rooms and living rooms for dining or tea.
Bucket Arch Tea Table by Lu Yi has been recognized as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Bucket Arch Tea Table received the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2024. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that celebrates outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
