Drayton Gardens
Drayton Gardens is a residential interior design for a top-floor apartment in South Kensington, London. The 127 square meter home merges classical period features with a minimalist approach, inspired by contemporary galleries placed inside historic buildings. Almost every element is bespoke, including the joinery, the kitchen, several free-standing pieces of furniture, the washbasins and the light switches. The same stone is used for the kitchen worktop, the washbasins and selected furniture. The layout allows the space to shift easily between office, entertainment and home use.
Drayton Gardens Residential Interior by Ō-DOME has been selected as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Drayton Gardens Residential Interior was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
