Kurimu Ice Cream Packaging Design

Kurimu Ice Cream

Kurimu is a packaging design for premium ice cream sold in pint containers. The design reflects Japanese minimalism, with a simple illustration for each flavor. Durable paperboard was selected for strength, and the illustrations were created with digital software. Offset printing was used to keep the colors consistent, and prototypes were tested for functionality. The restrained layout keeps attention on the product while still presenting the needed information. The result supports the artisanal character of the brand.

Kurimu Ice Cream Packaging Design by Lance Francisco has been identified as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Kurimu Ice Cream Packaging Design received the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
